Before getting into the mortgage banking business, I was an Investment Banker for fifteen years, helping Real Estate Company CEO’s merge, acquire, and finance their way into the accumulation of substantial net worth for their shareholders, and for themselves. I founded IPM to assist the retail public in applying the same basic finance principals to real estate investing.

Buy low, sell high.

The ability to execute on this principal has always depended upon well structured and cost effective financing. Leveraged capital allows for exponentially higher returns on your investment dollar, and enables that investment dollar to be distributed more widely over a greater number of investments.

In other words, buy more, and make more. It also allows you, the investor, to manage your risk on any one investment by employing the “portfolio” theory. Partner with other people’s money, and avoid concentration of risk in any one investment.
